19 - LabSat 3 Wideband - Converting LabSat Scenarios

LabSat uses a binary Intermediate Frequency to downconvert GPS RF data into a binary file, whereas LabSat 2, 3, and 3 Wideband store GNSS RF data as an I & Q binary file. This means that existing LabSat scenarios cannot be run natively on a LabSat 2, 3, 3 Wideband or 4, or vice versa. You can, however, convert LabSat files to make them compatible with your LabSat unit using the LabSat Scenario Converter software. This will let you perform a one-time conversion of files. Please note that you can only convert GNSS data files. Files that contain external data, such as CAN bus or serial data, cannot be converted.

The software is available to download on the LabSat Website.

You can find more information about how to use the Scenario Converter software here.
