How to Use Multiple LabSat Real-Time Units for SatGen 4 Simulation at the Same Time
This page contains information and step-by-step instructions for how to use multiple LabSat Real-Time units for real-time simulation simultaneously with SatGen 4.
With the release of version 4.1 of the SatGen 4 software, you can now connect multiple LabSat Real-Time units to your computer and open a SatGen 4 window for each unit. This will give you the ability to stream a different Real-Time simulation to each connected Real-Time unit simultaneously.
To achieve this you must first connect the Real-Time units you want to use.
- Open SatGen 4
- Import or create the scenario you want to use for the first simulation.
- Click on the Create tab
- Select LabSat Realtime as your Format
- Select the Mode you want to use
- Select the Serial Number of the unit you want to stream the current scenario from
- Select the Reference Clock you want to use
- Configure the Signals, Quantization and Signal to noise ratio
- Click on the Simulate button
- Open a second instance of SatGen 4
- Repeat steps 2-9
Continue to configure simulation scenarios and connecting to LabSat Real-Time units as described above until you have completed your setup.
Note: Performance may vary based on your computer system and setup. |
