Configure the DSM Handheld Trigger for VBOX 3i

When you have wired the DSM Handheld Trigger into the connector and connected it to the Analogue Input connector on VBOX 3i unit, you must configure the relevant Analogue input channel.

  1. Connect the VBOX 3i unit to a PC and open the VBOX Setup software.
  2. Connect the unit to the software and open the Channel Config menu.

You can see the ADC Channels under the Internal A/D heading.

Take note of the channel number where the trigger was wired into the connector or activate the trigger to identify the active channel in the preview column.

  1. Select the input channel you connected the trigger to.

This will open the Channel Properties.

  2. Click on the channel name to change the name to Trigger_An.
  3. Trigger the visual sensor to confirm that it is connected and working.
  4. Update the Scale and Offset as required to make the signal display logically in the graph.

Note: You can choose any name for the channels. The important thing is that you can easily identify the accessory connected to the channel.
