Dual Antenna

See the VBOX 3i application manual for full instruction on the use of the available functions.

clear1 (1).png Dual Antenna mode Set the VB3i SL to be in dual antenna mode.
Antenna Separation Sets the separation distance between the two antennas.
Antenna Orientation Sets roll mode on/off.  When ticked a 90° heading offset is configured, for use when antennas are positioned in a roll configuration (across the width of the car).
Antenna Alignment Within this sub menu the antennas can be auto aligned to ensure the heading is aligned to the vehicle body.  Automatic calculation must be carried out while moving in a straight line, at a constant steady speed. Alignment offset can also be cleared.
Antenna Level Within this sub menu the antennas can be auto levelled to provide a zero reference for pitch or roll measurements.
Slip Offsets Enter ahead/behind and left/right distances to translate the slip angle measurement to up to five different positions on the vehicle.
Back Return to VBOX Menu.

IMU-INS

See the VBOX 3i / VBOX 3iS / IMU application manual for full instruction on the use of the available functions.

clear1 (1).png IMU Integration Enable / Disable IMU integration mode (IMU03 / IMU04 must be connected to VBOX 3i / VBOX 3iS).
Roof Mount

Enable / Disable IMU roof mount integration (IMU04 must be connected to VBOX 3i / VBOX 3iS).

Note: Not available with IMU03.

Wheel Speed

Enable / Disable wheel speed input (IMU04 must be connected to VBOX 3i / VBOX 3iS).

Note: Not available with IMU03.

Ant to IMU Offset

Set offsets for distances between the IMU and Antenna.

Note: Not available when roof mount is enabled.

IMU to Ref Offset

Set offsets for distances between the nominated reference point and IMU.

This will translate the data from the IMU location to another point on the vehicle where all measurements will be made.

Ant to Wheel

Set offsets for distances between the wheel speed reference point and Antenna.

Note: Available when wheel speed is enabled.

Pitch/Roll Offset

Offsets the Pitch_imu and Roll_imu channels to zero. To be used when the IMU04 is not mounted on a flat surface. Function can only be used when the KF has been enabled and is running.

Gyro Offset Reset/ calibrate IMU internal gyro offsets.
