Firmware Updates
Racelogic released the latest VBOX LapTimer Firmware, v2.1.3.0 in September 2024
This version of the VBOX LapTimer firmware includes some changes and brings additional functionality to the unit.

Note: The VBOX LapTimer V2 hardware and firmware is not backwards compatible with the previous Lap Timer version (V1). |
Many of the changes have been made as a direct result of customer feedback requesting new features. Some changes have been made to fix bugs and other issues found during testing.
We strongly recommend that all users upgrade to the latest firmware release to take advantage of the new features and benefit from the improved stability.

- First release to support the release of the RLVBLAP-R hardware.
- Default screen brightness has been increased from 3 to 4.
- Auto screen orientation will now be locked when the vehicle speed is faster than 5 km/h.
- Fixed a bug related to reference lap times and gates settings being carried over from separate sessions.
This is not backwards compatible with the previous Lap Timer version.
