No Performance Box Touch Tracks Available

Performance Box Touch Lap Timing Mode displays the currently selected track and available layouts based on the GPS location of the unit. If Performance Box Touch is not detecting a track and displaying a NO LIST AVAILABLE message within the Track Select option of the Lap Timing Settings, there are a few troubleshooting steps you can try.

If after looking at the guidance below Performance Box Touch is still not displaying tracks when you believe it should, please contact Racelogic Support.

Satellite Signal

If Performance Box Touch is displaying a flashing red satellite icon VBOX Touch No Sats.png at the top of the screen, this indicates that the unit is struggling to acquire satellite lock. A minimum of 4 satellites are required to calculate position, the current number detected can be seen within the Diagnostic Settings screen. Satellite lock troubleshooting tips can be found here.

Location to Track

Performance Box Touch has an in-built track database containing a vast number of circuits throughout the world, a list of the currently supported circuits can be found here. As the unit selects a track based on the GPS location, if you are not in the vicinity of a known track, no track will be displayed. If you would like to request a new track map to be added to the circuit database, please Contact Racelogic.

Track Database

If your track is included within the supported circuits mentioned above, however Performance Box Touch is not detecting the track when at the circuit with satellite lock, the unit may need its track database updating. The latest track database file can be found on the VBOX Motorsport Website and is uploaded within the Lap Timing Settings menu.

Create Your Own Start/Finish Line

If no local track is available, you can still use the Performance Box Touch Lap Timing Mode by either creating a start/ finish line using the display when on track, creating a start/ finish line in Google Earth or creating a start/finish line using a previously recorded a VBOX File using your computer.
