Ethernet

This page contains an overview of the features and settings in the Ethernet Menu in VBOX Setup connected to VBOX 4 ADAS.

The Ethernet menu contains Ethernet settings for robot applications.

Ethernet will be set to Off by default.

Select the ABD robot message mode to enable Ethernet for ABD applications.

Select the Humanetics robot message to enable Ethernet for Humanetics applications. 

When you enable Ethernet for a robot message, the Ethernet settings will become available underneath.

Note: This menu will only be relevant if you use your VBOX unit for ABD or Humanetics robot applications.

ABD Robot Message

Racelogic unit IP

Give your VBOX unit a static IP address by typing the required IP address in the text boxes in this setting. 

Subnet

When using subnet masks, you can enter the relevant IP address in this setting. 

Destination IP

This setting determines the IP address that the VBOX will transmit the network data to (robot or robot controller).

Racelogic unit IP

Give your VBOX unit a static IP address by typing the required IP address in the text boxes in this setting. 

Subnet

Port

This setting defines the port to which the VBOX will transmit the network data.
