Tab on Startup:

You can select the tab you want the software to open when you run it: Configuration, Deployment, FW Upgrade, Monitoring or Faults.

Click the dropdown arrow to see the available tabs and click on a tab to select it.

Auto-Refresh

Tick this box to enable the software to refresh automatically.

If this box is not ticked, you will have to click on the Refresh button every time you want to refresh the software and update the contents.

There is a Refresh button in the top right corner on all the tabs in the software (except the Configuration tab).

Auto-Refresh Interval (s)

This setting will only be available when the Auto-Refresh setting has been enabled.

You can set a specific time interval for the software to refresh. It will be set to 15 seconds by default.

The more frequent these updates are the more data traffic will occur, which can affect the stability. We recommend that you use minimum 10 seconds.

You can use the arrow buttons next to the field to increase/decrease the time or you can type it directly into the field.

Configuration

The Configuration settings apply to the master configuration location and data storage. The default master configuration location is the computer you are currently working and the default data storage location is set as a TunnelSat directory on the loacal computer.

You must always use the latest available version of each service binary folder.

When a Service Type has appropriate service binaries uploaded, the software will display a green circle in the first column of the table.

When the Service Type does not have appropriate service binaries uploaded, the software will display a red circle in the first column of the table, and the rest of the table will be unpopulated.

The table showing the Available Services, provides an overview of all the different services that are required for the deployed configuration. This is where you can check that they are all running as expected or change the status.

The table contains the following information:

  • Host/Service
