Deployment
The Deployment tab will take all the data from the deployed configuration and work out which services need to go where in the system. You can use this to make sure that all the components in your system is where they need to be and running as expected.

Settings
Click on the Settings button in the top right corner to open and edit the software settings. |
Service Binaries
You must make sure that the latest service binaries have been loaded into the application for the required service types;
Ephemeris Server, Monitoring Service, Firmware Control Service and SatGen Service.
When you run a deployment for the first time, the Service Type table will not have any loaded service binaries.
Upload
Click the upload button to load a new Service Binary folder for one of the Service Types. Navigate to the relevant location for the service you want to load the service binary for and select the folder containing the relevant files. |

Service Types
This table provides an overview of the Service Types and the currently loaded service binaries for it. It will also display the directory path and the version of the loaded service file.
You must always use the latest available version of each service binary folder.
When a Service Type has appropriate service binaries uploaded, the software will display a green circle in the first column of the table.
When the Service Type does not have appropriate service binaries uploaded, the software will display a red circle in the first column of the table, and the rest of the table will be unpopulated.
Available Services:
The table showing the Available Services, provides an overview of all the different services that are required for the deployed configuration. This is where you can check that they are all running as expected or change the status.
The table contains the following information:
- Host/Service
The name or IP address of the service - Service Type
What type of service it is - Install Path
The install path of the service - State
The status of the service so that you can easily see if you need to make any updates/changes. - Version
The version number of the service binary it has installed
States

If a service has the state Not Installed, it means that it has not got any installed data from the relevant service binary file. When you have loaded the latest service file, you can deploy it and push the relevant service binary information to the service.

If a service has the state Stopped, you can manually start it.
- If a service has the state Running, it is all set up and running as expected.
Buttons
Deploy
Select an Not Installed service by clicking the tick box in the left-hand column and click the Deploy button to deploy that service. This will take the data from the applicable loaded service binary and push it to the configured service. When it has been deployed, the software will automatically start the service and the status should change to Running. |
Uninstall
Select an installed service (Stopped or Running state) by clicking the tick box in the left-hand column and click the Uninstall button to remove the service from the computer. |
Start
If you need to manually start a service, select a Stopped service by clicking the tick box in the left-hand column and click the Start button to make the service run. |
Stop
If you need to manually stop a service, select a Running service by clicking the tick box in the left-hand column and click the Stop button to stop the service from running. |
Task Progress
The Deployment tab has a window at the bottom that displays the task progress and result as you request them.
