Check base station setup and GPS coldstart

Is the Base Station setup correctly?

Does the Base Station GPS antenna have a clear view of the sky?
Does the Base Station transmit antenna have a clear line of site to the vehicle?
Is the Base Station transmit antenna elevated as high as possible?

Please watch the instructional video below to confirm that your Base Station setup is OK.

Carry out GPS coldstarts on the Base Station and VBOX 3i

Perform a GPS coldstart on base station by selecting:
OK > SETUP > COLDSTART > OK
You should see a progress bar to indicate the coldstart progress.

Perform a GPS coldstart on VBOX 3i by pressing and holding the REC button on the unit's front panel for around five seconds until the unit gives a single beeps.
