VBOX Configuration - Multiple Static Points (Static Base Station)

To configure the VBOX for use with a Static Base Station when using multiple static points for Traffic Sign Recognition Testing, please follow the steps below:
 

1. Connect VBOX Manager to the VBOX in the vehicle.
    
2. Enter the 'SETUP' menu of VBOX Manager.
    
3. Select the 'VBOX' option and scroll to 'Log Rate'. Ensure that '100 Hz' is selected, if it is not, select the menu and choose the option.

4. Scroll to 'Dynamic Mode', select and then choose one of the following options:
   • If you are not using IMU integration, set the dynamic mode to 'Medium' and press to confirm, this Dynamics mode is best for ADAS tests.
     
     
      
   • If you are using IMU integration, set the dynamic mode to 'High' and press to confirm.
     
     
      
5. Scroll to 'DGPS Rate' and select the appropriate settings for your radios.

Note: To ensure that the VBOX receives the DGPS correction signal, the correct RS232 rate must be set. All Racelogic blue boxed radios use 115200 kbit/s, Satel grey boxed radios use either 19200 kbit/s or 38400 kbit/s.
 

6. Scroll to 'DGPS Mode', select and then set to the same 2 cm mode that the Base Station is set to. For further info on RTK modes see RTK Configuration.
   
   
    
7. Return to the 'SETUP' menu by selecting 'Back'.
   
   
    
8. Select the 'ADAS' option and then choose 'Multi Static Points' as the ADAS mode, press to confirm.
