05 - Configuring TC8V2 as Stand Alone Module

TC8 can be configured for use with third party data loggers by selecting user polled mode in the settings menu. This allows a third party data logging system to poll the TC8 for data using the CAN bus. In this way the output timing of the sensor can be synchronised with other CAN information. 
 

In this mode there are a number of parameters and settings than must be set for the specific application.
 

In the Channels menu, the request identifiers and response identifiers must be set.
 

Once the settings and channels are configured correctly, use the ‘Write to unit’ button to save them to the module.
