Symptoms
- “NO CAN” message shown on the display
- No CAN data visible on the MFD Touch
Possible Causes
- No CAN communication from the VBOX unit
- Incorrect port used on the MFD Touch
- Loose or disconnected cable
- VBOX unit not transmitting CAN data
- Temporary communication fault
Resolution
- Check that the cable between the VBOX unit and the MFD Touch is securely connected
- Ensure the connection is made to the bottom port on the MFD Touch
- Power-cycle the VBOX unit:
- Turn the unit off
- Wait a few seconds
- Turn the unit back on
- Confirm the VBOX unit is powered and operating correctly

- Confirm firmware versions are up to date and compatible
- Review any custom CAN setup or configuration files
Symptoms
- CAN signal drops in and out
- “NO CAN” appears intermittently
- Data updates are inconsistent

- Loose or unstable connection
- Damaged cable or connector
- Electrical interference
- Power instability affecting the VBOX
Resolution
- Check all cable connections are secure

Symptoms
- Screen is active but no channels are displayed
- No values shown despite connection to VBOX

- No CAN channels configured
- Display layout not set up
- VBOX not outputting required data
Resolution
- Confirm CAN output is enabled on the VBOX
- Check that channels are configured and active
- Verify the display layout on the MFD Touch includes CAN channels
- Restart both devices after configuration changes
Symptoms
- No communication between devices
- No data transmission detected
- Device appears connected but inactive
Possible Causes
- Incorrect port used
- Incompatible or faulty cable
- Hardware compatibility issue
Resolution
- Ensure the MFD Touch is connected to the correct port (bottom port)
- Verify the cable is compatible and undamaged
- Try a known working cable
- Power-cycle both the VBOX and MFD Touch
